WE got a huge haul thanks to Cameron L., who emailed me regarding some songs from local bands he had including Flood Of Red's full debut EP with the mysterious missing track 4, "A Body To Die For".

With this, he's given me demos I haven't seen before and better quality versions of stuff I've had previously. I've since updated "The Museum Of Knives And Fire" and the demos posts...

...However because the newfound demos coincided with a self-release on their own website (like some advent calendar thing where they released individual tracks in December of 2012). I've included them all together there as one release even though these demos range from 2007-2012.

The songs I ripped from the Dragon Hoard came only in 96kbps (pretty crusty), so at the time I did my best at restoring the audio to 192kbps... For the most part I think I was successful but the high-hats on the drums and other "high frequency" instruments sounds off and muffled some other details.

On the "In Remembrance" and "Better Luck Tomorrow" posts I included the unaltered 96kbps files in the download optionally. I kind of prefer them honestly.

Additionally "Sealed With A Stitch" now has track 4 in its entirety, before it cut off. Thanks for letting me know Brap!.

FIRST OFF:

Whatever the problem was, it seems to be fixed and reinstated by Blogger themselves... however with a catch; it was a very old backup they put up for the Artists page (back to 5/17/2020 specifically).

Therefore, I spent the day editing it to be up-to-date which took a quite a long while. Now I know to stay on my toes by getting backups of the site on my pc just in case this ever happens again.

(To anyone who didn't see it, the Artist and Country pages were temporarily down/removed by Blogger because of a violation of ToS yesterday which according to them had to do with "Malware or Viruses"? I made a post regarding it but I have since taken it down because it's cleared).

We're so happy we can share our library with so many people. To us, and many others, our music libraries can be considered our most valuable asset… and trust me, when you're working with so much data at a time, you realize it's value. I want to do more reviews and provide more substance, at the moment we're working out concepts for 'genre' pages that are more informative on what genres actually mean than what we got right now (better accessibility features).

"Provided by the Bernie, the legend... this is an unofficial release of their demos/releases scattered through various Myspace profiles, which was suspected to date around 2004-2006. I always wondered why their 2006 LP, 'Trust Us, We Lie was toned down compared to their other stuff (which made me overlook them initially as generic), and thanks to Bernie I now know why; clout. From the release of 'If Looks Could Kill', they blew up overnight and the fame kinda got to their heads, which led up to the dissolvement of the band before releasing their LP fans were rightfully disappointed from the change in appealing to more radio-friendly audiences. Regardless, these are some stellar tracks with a lot of unique experimentation. You could consider this a semi-informal review, but I'd give it a fair."
